As there seems to be an increase interest for banks and financial institutions to revamp their banking website, I would like to share a recent study conducted by Kiss Metrics on how colours affect conversions.  Colours have a powerful psychological influence on the human brain.

No doubt the study is not in the financial or banking space, but the big takeaway here is to test what colours actually converts better. Would someone want to click on the green or orange button?  Can someone who is colour blind see your site well?  These are considerations that should be taken into account
